We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our Creative team and assist in building and maintaining a variety of ruby on rails applications.

As a Full Stack Developer at Dubit, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including designers and Producers, to deliver high-quality, user-centric software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front-end and Back-end Development: Develop and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of web applications using Ruby on Rails, React JS, Docker. It would be advantageous if you had experience with JavaScript, HTML, JSON:API and CSS.
  • Database Management: Design and optimise database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate UI/UX design wireframes into functional web applications.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues promptly.
  • Security: Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure the security of the applications.
  • Scalability: Design and develop scalable and high-performance web applications to handle increasing traffic and user loads.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and development processes.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies, and apply them to improve our applications.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of commercial experience, performing this role with another company in our industry
  • Must have strong English skills and be within 2 hours of the UK time zone
  • Have experience with Ruby on Rails, React JS, Docker. Experience with any of the following would be beneficial; JSON, AWS, Terraform, Rancher, React Native, Unity.
  • API Development experience
  • Working on similar applications to ours would be advantageous
  • Proven experience in a related field, preferably within the gaming industry.
  • Familiarity with gaming industry standards and trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus.
